ITPA meeting in CEA Cadarache, organized by CEA-IRFM

The annual meeting of ITPA (International Tokamak Physics activity) , on the divertor & scrape-off layer (Div-SOL) topics,  is held from 24 to 28 October in CEA Cadarache Castle, in the South of France.

Composed of 100 members, this “Think Tank” propose and manage scientific and technical missions in suport of ITER related to plasma wall interactions.

From particule and energy tranport and separatrix physics on takamaks to divertor emission capacity , control modeling and plasma facing materials, there are the main concerns of this ITPA meeting edition.

This year, 40 of those members are on site in Cadarache along with 40 more of them remotly connected.
