The Festival de Théorie is an inter-disciplinary workshop and research program.
It aims to bring together leading researchers in plasma physics, astrophysics, statistical physics and neutral fluids, for a 4 week gathering, starting today, Monday July 4th.
It is committed to discussing the most recent results in each field, promoting new ideas and providing educational training for PhD and post-doc students. It is sponsored by CEA (France).
Once every other year, the « festival de Théorie » aims to promote interactions beetween PhD students, postdocs and young scientists in fusion plasma physics & related fields (including theory, simulation and experiment) with leading reseachers from around the world, in a collaborative environment where current ideas are discussed.
Since 2019, the Program is organized around four-week courses of study and research involving a core group of prominent scientists closely interacting with a small group of competitively selected graduate & postgraduate fellows.
