The10th WEST Governing Board meeting was held on June 24, 2026, at the IRFM, with many of the WEST platform’s partners in attendance (either in person or remotely).
This tenth meeting provided partners with an update on the platform’s developments, the WEST Phase 3 project, and recent experimental results.
They presented the outlook for their collaboration with the CEA on WEST and approved the broad guidelines for upcoming experimental campaigns (2026–2028).
The partners also approved the appointment of the new program team: Patrick Maget (Coordinator), Pierre Manas (M1 Task Force Leader), Jean Cazabonne (M1 Task Force Deputy Leader), Jonathan Gaspar (M2 Task Force Leader), and Alex Grosjean (M2 Task Force Deputy Leader).
Representatives of the partner organizations present on site: A. Bécoulet (Deputy Director-General, ITER Organization), Y. Camenen (Aix-Marseille University (AMU), Director of the FR-FCM), S.
