The IRFM is organizing the 4th edition of the “Fusion pour Tous” school at the Château de Cadarache from June 16 to 20, 2025.
The aim of the school is to provide an overview of magnetic confinement fusion, present the issues involved, and explain the various systems and operation of an ITER-type fusion facility (tokamak).
This training is shared between :
- visits to fusion laboratories and facilities (WEST tokamak and ITER).
- lectures given by researchers and experts in the field (at the Château de Cadarache).
All aspects of fusion are covered: energy issues, how a fusion plant works, the different systems, the players in fusion and start-ups.
