IPR collaboration takes shape

Jasraj Dhongde and Harish Masand arrived on 20th January from IPR (India) to participate in the WEST project. Their participation is in the framework of the agreement signed between the CEA and the Indian Department of Atomic Energy in July 2013.

One will work on improvement of the graphical user interface of the W7-X Pulse Schedule Editor and its adaptation for the WEST project. The other will work on the communication network implementation in framework of the DCS (Discharge Control System) real time. This framework is currently used in ASDEX Upgrade at Garching.

 

The two researchers will stay 9 months in France for this task.
