The head of the Doctoral School of Physics and Materials Science of Aix Marseille University rewarded Peter Donnel with the PhD Thesis prize on June 13th 2019.
Peter Donnel started his PhD in the "theory and simulation" group in November 2015 under the supervision of Xavier Garbet and Yanick Sarazin. He defended his thesis titled "Impurity transport in tokamak plasmas: gyrokinetic study of neoclassical and turbulent transport" in December 2018. He is now a postdoctorate researcher at the Swiss Plasma Center. His PhD thesis can be found at the link |
