2.5 MW of radio frequency power injected into WEST plasmas
The C2 campaign ended on February 16 with 2.5 MW of additional power injected into the plasma. The two Lower Hybrid Current Drive launchers were progressively ramped up and tungsten W45+ line radiation came out indicating high temperature plasma. This nice progression will be resumed in May.         Plasma in WEST during C2 campaign (pulse nr. 52612) :
