Résumé / Abstract :
The Broader Approach (BA) Activities, started in 2007 in the framework of collaboration between Japan and EURATOM. Two research projects, such as the International Fusion Energy Research Centre (IFERC) and the Engineering Validation and Engineering Design Activities for the International Fusion Materials Irradiation Facility (IFMIF/EVEDA) are carried out at the Rokkasho Fusion Institute. In the IFERC project, the remote experimental system, which will be applied to ITER, was demonstrated on the WEST between the Rokkasho and CEA Cadarache in last year, In the IFMIF/EVEDA project, a high beam current up to 125 mA with 5 MeV in Deuterium was achieved in this year. Further acceleration up to 9 MeV is planned with superconducting accelerator delivered by CEA in n-ext year. The current status of the Rokkasho Fusion Institute will be reported, in addition to the Japanese Fusion program.
